Relocation: Downsizing and Rightsizing Move Management

As Certified Senior Move Managers, Adventures in Organizing has the tools and systems needed to make your move as stress free possible. We can meet the needs of seniors or Boomers looking to downsize their homes or younger growing families. Adventures in Organizing can help you with your “right-size” move.

Services provided in your move package include:

• We will assist with the sorting and paring down of your belongings. If you are downsizing, we will help determine space and what will fit in your new home. If you are increasing the size of your home, we will assist in determining what you really want to keep and what will not be moving with you, help you arrange the move, as well as find all the services required to ensure your move is successful. Moving is a stressful time and we want to help you make this transition as smooth as possible for all family members involved in the move.
• We will help you determine where the items you are not keeping will go
• We will help you make arrangements with the charity of your choice (Goodwill, Salvation Army) when disposing items that will not be moving with you
• We will pack your belongings for the move
• We will make arrangements for the cleaning of your home once you have moved out.

2. New Home Set Up: Assess your floor plans and photos of your new space. AIO will aid in pre-planning furniture placement, colour consulting, unpacking and staging of your new home. If outside of the Ottawa area, we will assist in finding professionals in advance to meet your needs once you arrive in your new location.
